What’s Your Erotic Persona? Arya’s First Erotic Persona In-Person Cocktail Party in NYC With Shan Boodram
In a dimly lit, intimate speakeasy in NYC, Arya hosted our very first in-person cocktail party to celebrate our couples and the release of 2025 Couples and Intimacy Trends, one of the largest scale studies on couples’ sexual and emotional wellness in history based on insights from over 100,000 respondents.
Arya’s Head of Research, Nicolas Velotta, walked our couples through an interactive activity to figure out what are their Erotic Personas.
Couples were presented with a number of prompts and words that allowed them to figure out what is their intimacy language.
Afterward, the couples had a chance to enjoy a custom cocktail based on their Erotic Persona.
Velotta also showed couples how understanding their own and their partner’s Erotic Personas can help people elevate their sex lives and help bridge the gap between their sexual desires.

Our CAIT findings show that the most popular pairing of Erotic Personas in our couples is The Adventurer with The Romantic (31%).
The couples also got to experience a live workshop led by Arya’s Chief Intimacy Officer Shan Boodram.
Boodram guided the couples through an intimate sensation and temperature play experience which allowed the couples to get a taste of one of the most popular Arya Scenes: Heat and Sense.
